Arlington, TX (SportsNetwork.com) - DeAndre Daniels scored 20 points and Connecticut climbed out of an early hole to beat Florida 63-53 on Saturday night, advancing to the NCAA title game for the second time in four years.
The Huskies, after trailing 16-4, led for the last 22:20 of the game to snap Florida's 30-game winning streak.
They will try to win their fourth national title in 16 years Monday night against the winner of Saturday's second game between Kentucky and Wisconsin.
Florida, the NCAA Tournament's No. 1 overall seed, hadn't lost since the Huskies beat them Dec. 2 on Shabazz Napier's buzzer-beater.
